The Cyrillic Keyboard Layout

Throughout my work as a programmer and a translator who does typing in four languages, too much time is taken during keyboard layout switching. Time has come to change this — finally.

X11 has “latin” layout which eliminated for me the need for separate US and Polish layouts (and moreover, now I can type in almost any Western and Central European language). But there just wasn't a cyrillic layout, so I have made my own one.

Could you be so kind to share it? I've reproduced your layout in part, i can now type in Ukrainian, Russian and Belorussian. But I don't know how to add typographic symbols like «” etc... Have you submitted it to be included in the oficial release of X11? I think many people will appreciate it.

схоже, що у вас замість ятя (0462 та 0463) стоять
CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER SEMISOFT SIGN (048C) та
CYRILLIC SMALL LETTER SEMISOFT SIGN (048D)
